Sew four nine patch
squares from the previously
made three color strips, using the diagram at left as a placement
guide. Trim these back to measure 3-1/2" if needed.. |

Now piece the block as shown at
left, using as always those SCANT 1/4" seams. Make rows,
alternating pressing directions with each addition, then join the
rows, again alternating pressing directions...and You Are Done! |

This quilt is again four blocks
by five, but I made it using half squares in each block's corner. It
is surrounded by a three inch border, with corner squares made of
half squares...What a great wedding gift this would make, signed by
all the friends and family!
