The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with
paper
piecing, come on back and try a Whirligig! You will need to print
out four copies of each of the units needed per block you want to
make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should
be plenty! |

After you have pieced all the
units needed, join the segments as shown at left, using as always a
1/4" seam allowance... |

Then join the four quadrants to
make the block!
