This makes an 8" block  and is paper pieced--it's from the late 1800's-early 1900's!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Vermont 2 block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each color should be ample!

After your units are paper pieced, join the two Template C page templates to form the block's center. Add the two Template B Page units to opposing sides. Lastly add the two Template A Page units and your block is complete!

Here are four blocks by five with triple plain borders!

Happy Quilting!
