** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Cut the Color 1 4-7/8" x 9-3/4" (3-7/8"
x 7-3/4") strip into two 4-7/8" (3-7/8")
squares. Stack the squares and cut them once on the diagonal to make
four half square triangles...
Cut the Color 1 5-1/4" (4-1/4")square in half on both diagonals to make four large quarter square triangles... |

Now cut the Color 3 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" (2-3/4" x 5-1/2") strip into two 3-1/4" (2-3/4) squares. Stack the squares and cut them in half on both diagonals to make eight quarter square triangles. Cut the Color 3 2-1/2" x 5" ( 2" x 4") strip into two 2-1/2" (2")squares... |

Next cut the Color 4 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" (2-3/4" x 5-1/2") strip into two 3-1/4" (2-3/4) squares. Stack the squares and cut them in half on both diagonals to make eight quarter square triangles. Cut the Color 3 2-1/2" x 5" ( 2" x 4") strip into two 2-1/2" (2")squares...on to Page 2! |
