The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Starshine Block! You will need to print out
two copies of the template A page, and one each of the B and C pages
per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. You will also need two 4-7/8" squares
of background fabric. FQ's will be fine for this! |

After your units are all paper pieced. Sew together
the center units as shown at far left. Add the side units to all
sides of the block. Cut the two 4-7/8" background squares each
in half once on the diagonal, and sew the resulting triangles to the
block's corners. All done! :o) |

This quilt is four blocks by five, with a pieced
border! It offers some great quilting space!
Happy Quilting!
