The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a St. Louis Star! You will need
four copies of the corner square, four copies of the A
and A-Rev units and one copy of each of the B units per block you
want to make printed on very lightweight paper. |
|
 |
After you have paper pieced all the units,
join A and A-Rev units along the center seam, using as always a
1/4" seam allowance. Press allowance to one side. Make
four units like this... |
|
 |
Then sew the B and B-Rev units
together, pressing seam to one side... |
|
 |
Now just piece the block as
shown at left! Alternate pressing directions by row, so that seams
will be staggered and lay flat!
...on to Page
2!
