** Preparing the
Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Start this one by drafting your templates. Draw a
6" square on paper. Then draw a line from the upper left corner to the half way point
of the lower side. ( The 3" point) Cut these two shapes out. Tape or stick them to new
paper, and add 1/4" to each side. Cut out these new pieces and transfer to the
template material of your choosing...If you prefer, CLICK

Now cut out two triangles of Color 1... |

Cut out two triangles of Color 2... |
|
 |
Cut out four background shapes from Color 3.... |
|
 |
Then sew the triangles of each color to the four
background shapes, as shown at left. You will need two of each color
combo. Trim to measure 6-1/2" each if needed...
