Ok... whichever block I had previously voted the simplest block ever... I was wrong! This one is even easier! It makes a 12" block!

3 Blocks x 4 Blocks with a 2" border makes a perfect Project Linus Quilt Sized Quilt!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

Mark and cut the Color 2  5" x 20" strip into sixteen 2-1/2" squares...

Then lay a Color 2  2-1/2" square atop the top left corner of the first print 6-1/2" square, right sides together and edges aligned. On the back of the top small square, lightly draw the diagonal in the direction shown at left. Sew on this marked line. Cut off the excess seam allowance, and press the remainder towards the outside. Repeat with another square on the opposing corner, and then with the two open corners ...

Now piece the four "snowballs" to make the Block! Simple!! :o)

...on to Page 2!
