| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Scrappy Star Block! You will need to print out one copy of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be plenty! |

Once your units are pieced sew them together as shown at left
:o)

Shown here in Kaffe Fassett plaids prints, stripes and solids...note what happens when you plan this one out on paper, and piece the sides of this block accordingly! Here are ten Scrappy Star Blocks alternated with ten Square in Square blocks! Happy Quilting! Marcia :o) |
