Now sew a Color1/Color3 half square to a Color2/Color 3 half square along the right edge, using a 1/4" seam. Press seam allowance to the left. Add a Color 3 rectangle. Press seam allowance towards the top row. Make four of these units...

Then join all your units together as shown at left! First sew together rows, and then join rows to make the block!. Be sure to alternate directions when pressing out seam allowances!
