** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

After printing off the paper templates, cut out one of piece A and one of Piece B. Place these on a larger piece of paper or your favorite template material. Add 1/4" to all sides of each. Now cut out these new larger pieces and they will be your templates to cut your fabric pieces from. You will need eight of each Color for Piece A cut from the 7" x 16" strips. You will need two of each Color for piece B cut from the 7" x 14" strips.

Mark the centers of each convex and concave piece where there will be joined...

Using scissors, snip the concave edges UP TO BUT NOT PAST your 1/4" stitching point...

Pin the first Piece A to a Piece B, matching centers and distributing fullness. Sew together using a 1/4" seam...

Rotate the block and pin on the second Piece A. Sew...on to Page 2!
