This makes a 12" block and it's a nice and EASY one!!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** 

 

Place a Color 4 and a Color 1  4-7/8" square right sides together and all edges aligned. On the back of the top square draw in the diagonal. Sew 1/4" away from the drawn line on each side. Cut apart on the drawn line. This will gave you two half squares. Press to the darker side. These should measure 4-1/2". Repeat this with a Color 4/Color 2 set, and Color 3/Color 1 set and a Color 3/Color 2 set to get two each in that color arrangement...

 

 

Now just lay out all your pieces, using the extra Color 3  4-1/2" square as the block's center. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing seams in the top and bottom rows to the outside, and the middle row seams to the center...and you are DONE!...with ONE....LOL!   ...on to Page 2!
