** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

I'll just be showing how to make one quarter of this block, since all quarters will then be made in the same way. The Supplies List includes all fabrics for one entire block of four quadrants.

Sew together pairs of squares as shown at left, using a 1/4" seam. Press one to the left and the other to the right...

Now sew the pieced units to make a Four Patch unit...
Now print off the cutting template and transfer it to a sheet of clear template plastic, Be sure to also include the "crosshairs" on your Mylar template. Lay this template on your sewn Four Patch, lining up the cross hairs of the template with the seams of the Four Patch. Cut out new square.  Repeat this with four more Four Patches to make a block...on to Page 2!
