The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Pinwheel 3 block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters should be plenty!

After all four units are paper pieced, lay them out as shown at left.  Sew two horizontal rows. Join the rows to complete the block!

Here are four blocks by five, with a pieced border! It's an eye-popper in these brights!
