Sew Color 1 squares to the ends of four Color 2 trapezoids- 2 facing in each direction. Then sew Color 1 squares to the ends of two Color 3 trapezoids -1 facing in each direction. Press all these seams towards the trapezoids... (From now on press seams towards the direction of least resistance, that is, the way the seams seem to naturally want to go) |

Using two Color 1 squares and the Color 2 and 3 small triangles, sew one of each of the units shown at left... |
