Now lay out the Color 2 half squares, the Color 3  squares and the pieced unit from the step above and sew together a Shoofly square, pressing the top and bottom row seams to the insides. Make two units like this...

Lastly, piece your block by joining the two Nine Patch units and the two Shoofly units!

This little Mini Wall Hanging is nine blocks with 1" borders, and will be 22" square :o)

 Color 1 needs: two 1-1/2" x 6" strips AND one 1-1/2" x 3" strip 

Color 2

 Color 2 needs: one 1-7/8" x 7-1/2" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 3" strip

 Color 3 needs: two 1-1/2" x 6" strips AND four 1-1/2" x 3" strips AND one 1-7/8" x 7-1/2" strip
