This one gets paper pieced, so the first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Links Border! You will need to print out copies of the template page  on very lightweight paper to make this. Do your paper piecing, and then piece it as shown at left. This will make a border that is 6-1/2" wide, UNfinished...to fit it on a quilt top, the sides and ends of the quilt top need to be evenly divisible by 3", so you may need to add coping strips to the edges of the top to make this possible :o)   Click here for the border corner template!
