This
time we'll try a Gingerbread man Wall hanging!...sewwwww...yardages listed
below are for
both the gingerbread block in the middle, and for the entire wall
hanging! Feel free to add
as many embellishments as you like! |
|
|
From about an 8"
square of "gingerbread fabric", cut out a freehand gingerbread man.--or if
you prefer, you can click on the image at the left for a printable pattern-- in either
case, remember to add a scant amount of fabric around all edges to turn under and
appliqué! |
|
|
Pin the lil' guy to the
center of an 8-1/2 " square of background fabric, and appliqué on using matching
thread and tiny stitches! |
|
|
Now pin white trim
around the edges, I suggest white rattail! To stitch down, either sew on by hand, or
machine zigzag using invisible thread, and a stitch just wide enough to span the
trim. Butt
ends of trim up tight to each other and stitch firmly in place...on to Page
2! |
