The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Four in the Night block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one of the template B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty!

After all units are paper pieced, sew together the center units to form the center nine patch. Then add corner triangles to opposing sides, and then to the remaining open sides!

Here on its side is a quilt made with four blocks by five and a simple pieced border!
