Start by using the templates provided to cut
four corner trapezoid units from the Color 3-3/4" x 14-1/2" strip...
Use the large square template to cut one large square from the Color 1 4" square of fabric... |

Next use the rectangle template to cut four rectangles from the Color 2 2-1/2" x 14" strip... |
|
|
Then use the small square template to cut four small squares from the Color 3 2-1/2" x 8-1/2" strip |

|
Use the Quarter Square triangle template to cut eight QSTs from the Color 4 4" x 8" strip... |
|
|
Using a scant 1/4" seam now and throughout the block making, Construct the center Nine Patch unit. Press all seams to the darker sides...on to Page 2! |
