This makes a 10" block and is paper pieced !

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Four Blossoms Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one of the B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. You will also need four white and one green 2-1/2" squares. Fat Quarters should be plenty!

After the units are pieced, lay them all out as shown at left. Join the center units. Add the sides. Sew white squares to the ends of two side units. Add these to the top and bottom of the block, and it's all done!

 

Here are ten "Four Blossoms" blocks, with pieced spacer blocks!
