Then, sew a small Color 3 square to each end of  TWO Color 2 rectangles, pressing seams towards rectangles. Sew the remaining two Color 2 rectangles to the left and right of the center unit, pressing seams towards rectangles. Add the pieced rectangle units to the top and bottom to complete the block!

 

Here's a real old-fashioned looking small quilt, just right for a newborn! This one is done in Marcus Brothers Old Sturbridge repro fabrics!
