| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Easy Virginia Star! You will need to print out four copies the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty! |

Once you sections are paper pieced, join them as shown at far left. Then piece the block, by joining the four quarters... this is SO much easier than the traditional method of piecing all those diamonds! |
