** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Start by sewing together the plate blades in pairs of twos. Press seam towards the darker fabric... |

Then join the pairs in sets of four... |
|
Now join the sets in two half circles... |
|
Lastly join the half circles to make the full plate... |
|
Next, sew around the edge of the center circle unit, just shy of the 1/4" seam line, and use this sewn line as your guide to turn under and press the edges under. Pin the center circle centered over the plate and applique in place...on to Page 2! |
