Now fold the block in half right sides together on the diagonal. Insert the needle at the stopping point on one of the remaining open seams...backstitch, and then stitch from then to the block's edge. Repeat this with all remaining  open corner seams...and you're done!

The Quilt is four blocks by five, with a  pieced border made of half quarter squares and flying geese units...ah...and by the way...I decided I liked reds better as the side triangles!
