This makes a 10" block and is paper pieced !

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Corn Fed! block! You will need to print out two copies of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be plenty!

Once the units are paper pieced, join them as shown at far left...two ears makes the block!

The corn block will make a great border block on any fall quilt, but if you'd like to do a pig quilt, you can increase the size of the Appliqué Pig found on the Simple Appliqué Shapes Page!
