This makes an 8" block, and is paper pieced!

It's an original pattern. Please abide by the Terms and Conditions of use! :o)

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Circle the Field Block! You will need to make four copies of the template per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty!

Once your four units are pieced, join two together in pairs, then sew the pairs together to make the block, using that ever present scant 1/4" seam, and pressing seams to one side.

This quilt is again four blocks by five, with  VERY narrow sashings and double borders just to define the blocks a bit more.

Happy Quilting!

Here's one that Jan made!
