The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is
go to the Practice Paper Piecing
Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back
and try a Churning Sun Block! You will need to print out two copies of
the template A and B pages per block you want to make on very lightweight
paper. The template C page is border paper piecing units, each unit
covering 9" of space. A Fat Quarter of each Fabric should be
ample! |

After your units are pieced join
the corner units to make four corner blocks. Next piece three rows,
using corner units, the one center square and the side units. Sew
the rows together, and that block is ready to churn! |

The quilt is four blocks
by five, with pieced border units, and corner stones made of extra
block corners. I love this one! :o)
