Next it's time to check the length needed for your double border strips! Place two against the sides of the quilt and trim them off the same length. Do the same with the last two, placing them on the top and bottom of the quilt--cut to the proper length...

Now sew the longer double border strips to the sides of the quilt. Sew the extra corner units to the shorter two double border strips, and add to top and bottom of the quilt!
