| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Center-Nine Star Block! You will need to print out one copy of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. You'll also need nine 1-1/2" squares of fabrics for the nine patch! |

Sew together the Center-Nine as shown at left, using all scant 1/4" seams. Press the top and bottom rows to the outside, and the middle row to the center. |

Then, after the paper piecing units are done, sew them to the nine patch as shown at left...and that's the block! It's a great way to use up scraps! ...on to Page 2! |
