This makes a 7" block (6" without the Log Cabin strip sides) and is paper pieced!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Autograph Block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty!

After you have pieced the three units for your block, cut the strips shown at left...I suggest a fabric that complements the blocks main color :o) Square the strips back in length if needed as you add them...

Piece the foundation units to make the blocks center, then add strips, log cabin fashion, in the order shown at left!...and there's one block!

...on to Page 2!
