Now sew a Color 1 quarter square triangle to the left edge of a Color 2  3-1/2" square. Press seam towards triangle. Sew another QST to the bottom edge, and press towards that triangle...

Lay out all units as shown at left. Sew the two smaller corner units to the upper right and lower left of the center square. Now add the two larger corner units to complete your block! Aunt Eliza would be Proud! :o)
