Using the templates provided, from Color 1 cut one square and eight
trapezoids, four in each direction...

From Color 2 cut four squares, four rectangles, and eight triangles...
|

Sew pairs of trapezoids together using a 1/4" seam, and
stopping at a point 1/4" away from the inside V seam end, shown
here in green. Backstitch. Sew Color 2 triangles to the sides of the
trap pair, as shown 2nd from far left. Press seams towards triangles.
Now sew a Color 2 square to one edge of the inner V, stopping at a
point 1/4" from the inner edge. Backstitch. Fold the unit right
sides together, lining up the remaining un-sewn edges. Stitch from the
1/4" point to the edge of the seam, backstitching at the
beginning of the seam to secure it. Make four corner units like
this...on to Page 2!
