This makes a 10" block and is paper pieced !

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Abenaki Way block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters should be plenty! Also cut two blue 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles.

     After all units have been paper pieced, sew the four smaller units (from template page B) to the ends of the two 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles as shown at far left.  Now sew all the units together to finish up the block!

Here are four rows of blocks with background colored spacer rows!
