This makes a 12" block, is paper pieced and comes to us from the 1940's!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try  A Striped-Plain Quilt Block! You will need to print out four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters should be plenty!

After paper piecing the four units, join them as shown at left! What a great and easy block!

Oh Stripes are SO wonderful! Imagine the time that would have gone into string piecing this one!

Happy Quilting All!
